Danielle and Herr run a delightful operation in the heart of Myrties. The rooms are comfortable, the AC works well, etc etc, but what makes it all amazing is the gracious, funny hosts. Delicious buffet breakfasts with fresh smoothies, great knowledge of the island, eager to make calls to help us coordinate parts of our stay - and a fridge stocked with beverages for afternoon social hour. Will definitely be staying with them again and eating more Dutch-Greek treats. Thank you!

I loved this place...
Beautiful rooms, really quiet and clean. Herre and Danielle, the owners of the place, were so kind and welcoming. I felt that they love meeting and taking care of their guests. Their personality and taste is what Aphrodite Studios are made of and that's really obvious by the time you get there.
I'd better not forget to mention that breakfast was excellent every morning, just what you need to start your day.
I would easily recommend it to anyone and encourage you to go to Telendos, a beautiful small island just across Myrties, You can get there by boat departing from the small port of Myrties just 3 minutes walk from Aphrodite Studios.
Can't wait for next year

Very nice place to stay, where you have everything you need. Herre and Daniëlle are very hospitable and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. If you go to Kalymnos I recommand Aphrodite.

We have just returned form an amazing 10 day stay here. Herre and Daniel are lovely and super welcoming and helpful. We loved the breakfasts and Herre's coffee especially!!
The apartments are comfortable and spacious. As a group of 6 in 3 apartments we would have benefitted from some bigger pans to cook communal meals in, but apart from that all good!
Herre is very helpful with any information you might need and nothing is too much trouble.
We most definitely come again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Aphrodite Studios with hosts Danielle and Herre, as well as their beautiful daughter Flo. We were welcomed as if part of the family and felt very much at home. They exceeded our expectations in every way. The space is perfectly located, just outside of Masouri with views of Telendos. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning in the common patio conversing with Danielle and Herre. We would highly recommend Aphrodite Studios and will stay here again on our next climbing trip. We miss it already!!!!!!

Expect a very warm welcome in this small family-run hotel. Danielle and Herre will do everything to make you feel at home in their Aphrodite Studios.
This place has all you could wish for: a view of the ocean from the terrace as well as from your (large) private balcony, a garden in the back of the hotel (a rare thing on Kalymnos), spacious studios with the possibility to cook your own meal as well as a great variety of good restaurants within walking distance.
The ferry to the small car-free island of Telendos is just a few steps away, as are a couple of small beaches, a supermarket and some other shops. A fifteen minute walk will take you to Masouri, close enough to enjoy the facilities there but without the busy traffic that comes with it.
In short: the perfect base to explore Kalymnos!

6 stars!! We've been there for 2 weeks, visiting the island for climbing. The rooms are big, the balconies aswell. Everything is exactly like it is shown on the website. Breakfast was great, too. Herre and Danielle are super nice hosts. If there was any issue we could be sure it was taken care of asap! The contact to Herre and Danielle was always on a more personal level, not the kind of business relation you could have with other studio/hotel owners. They can tell you a lot about the island so don't hesitate to ask. Their recommendations for restaurants or beaches were always on point and very honest. We really appreciate to have had them as our hosts. Thank you very much!! You took big part in making the past two weeks as great as they were!!! Be sure to see us again :-)

Danielle & Herre were the perfect hosts during our stay in Kalymnos, and the experience far exceeded our expectations! The apartment was clean, bright, spacious, and completely functional, and the location is perfectly positioned on Mirties Beach within easy reach of the local hotspots.
Very highly recommended, and hope to stay again :)

We loved our stay with Herre and Danielle!
They are both very committed hosts and will happily cater to your needs.
The apartments are very clean and, with breakfast and air condition
included, the price is more than reasonable.
We got a warm welcome and, a week later, left as friends.
Highly recommended to all climbers and other tourist who want to enjoy a
relaxed stay with no worries.

We recently visited Kalymnos on a climbing holiday and stayed with Danielle, Herre, Florine and Brutus at the Aphrodite Studios. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property.
The rooms are spotless, spacious and full of amenities (wifi in the rooms, true hot water, air con, queen sized beds, in addition to the typical studio standard inclusions) . Breakfast, which is included, is excellent and ample to fill you up for a full day of climbing. Danielle's addition of homemade jams and cakes was delightful.
The owners are exceptional. They are kind, responsive and fun. No request was too small and they are genuinely interested in making your holiday great. Herre even went out to help my husband when our scooter ran out of gas! Whenever we are on Kalymnos we will stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Herre,Danielle and Florin showed me wonderful hospitality whilst I stayed at Aphrodite Studios.The accomodation was really comfortable and immaculately clean.Nothing is too much trouble and they were really helpful.The breakfasts that are available are wonderful and a great start to the day especially if you are going climbing as it sets you up for the day and saves time as you get up and breakfast is waiting for you.The complimentary lift to and from the port is also really helpful.5 stars no problem! Will be back next year!

I had a wonderful stay at Aphrodite Studios. I came here to climb for two weeks with a friend from the U.K. Our hosts, Herre and Danielle, have done a wonderful job with the property. The rooms are spacious and clean, and have everything you'd need. Each room has its own wifi router; a particularly nice amenity. The hosts made a delicious breakfast every morning and were wonderfully accommodating and lovely people. I'll be staying here again and would highly encourage anyone to do the same.
